- 1 lb ground beef (or a mix of beef and pork)
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- v cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- ½ cup water or beef broth
In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and parsley.
Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and set aside.
Pour marinara sauce and water (or broth) into the Instant Pot.
Place the meatballs in the sauce, ensuring they are submerged.
Close the lid, set the Instant Pot to “Pressure Cook” on high for 8 minutes.
Allow for a natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then manually release the remaining pressure.
Carefully remove the meatballs and serve with pasta, in a sub, or as an appetizer.
