Instructions

  • Prepare Your Equipment:
Assemble the Aeropress: Use the inverted method by placing the plunger upside down and attaching the main body on top.
Rinse the Filter: Place a paper filter in the Aeropress cap and rinse it with hot water to remove any paper taste.
  • Measure and Grind the Coffee:
Weigh the Beans: Use a digital scale to measure 15 grams of coffee beans.
Grind the Beans: Grind the coffee to a medium-fine consistency, similar to table salt.
  • Heat the Water:
Boil the Water: Heat 240 grams of water to 100°C (212°F). Use a kettle with a precise spout for easy pouring.
  • Add Coffee to Aeropress:
Insert Coffee Grounds: Place the ground coffee into the inverted Aeropress chamber.
  • Start the Brewing Process:
First Pour: Pour 60 grams of water over the coffee grounds, ensuring all grounds are evenly saturated.
Bloom Phase: Stir gently to ensure even saturation and allow the coffee to bloom for 30 seconds.
  • Complete the Brew:
Second Pour: After the bloom, add the remaining 180 grams of water.
Stir Again: Stir gently once more to ensure even extraction.
  • Attach the Cap and Flip:
