Jerk Salmon Bites are a bold and flavorful dish featuring salmon chunks coated in a spicy jerk seasoning, then seared to perfection. This quick and easy recipe is perfect for a snack, appetizer, or main course.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh salmon, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tbsp jerk seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp honey (optional for balance)
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter (for cooking)

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Salmon: Cut the salmon into bite-sized cubes and pat dry with a paper towel.
  • Marinate: In a bowl, mix jerk seasoning, olive oil, lime juice, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Coat the salmon pieces and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  • Cook the Salmon:
    Pan-Searing Method: Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Cook salmon bites for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
    Air-Fryer Method: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Cook salmon bites for 7-9 minutes, shaking halfway through.
    Grilling Method: Skewer the salmon bites and grill for about 3 minutes per side until charred and fully cooked.
  • Serve & Enjoy: Garnish with fresh herbs and serve with rice, salad, or a creamy dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more jerk seasoning or a dash of hot sauce.
  • Use skin-on salmon for extra crispiness when pan-searing.
