- 500 gram minced meat (chicken, beef, or lamb)
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 -inch ginger (grated)
- 1 green chili (finely chopped)
- ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garam masala
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp red chili powder
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice1 egg (for binding)
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (for coating)
- Oil for frying
Prepare the mixture: In a large bowl, combine minced meat, onion, garlic, ginger, green chili, and coriander leaves.
Season the mixture: Add salt, black pepper, garam masala, cumin powder, red chili powder, and lemon juice. Mix well.
Shape the cutlets: Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into oval or round patties.
Coat the cutlets: Beat an egg in a separate bowl. Dip each cutlet into the egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
Cook the cutlets:Deep-frying: Heat oil in a pan and fry the cutlets on medium heat until golden brown and crispy (about 4-5 minutes per side).Shallow-frying: Use less oil and cook on a non-stick pan, flipping occasionally, for 6-8 minutes per side.Baking: Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway. Serve hot: Enjoy with mint chutney, ketchup, or yogurt dip.
