- 2 hoagie or sub rolls
- 1 tbsp butter or oil
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 small bell pepper, sliced (optional)
- 1 cup shredded provolone, mozzarella, or American cheese
- 2 tbsp Kansas City BBQ sauce (optional, for extra glaze)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat.
