Lahori Omelette Recipe

A spicy and flavorful Pakistani-style omelette loaded with herbs, vegetables, and traditional spices, perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil

Instructions
 

  • Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl and whisk them until fluffy.
  • Add chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilies, coriander, red chili powder, turmeric, cumin, and salt. Mix well.
  • Heat butter or oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the pan and spread it evenly.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges start to set.
  • Flip the omelette carefully and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Serve hot with paratha or toasted bread.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level according to your preference.
  • For a richer taste, use ghee instead of butter.
