Ingredients
  

  • 1 bunch of fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon (juice and zest)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add asparagus to the pan and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until asparagus is tender but still crisp.
  • Remove from heat and drizzle with fresh lemon juice and zest.
  • If desired, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
