Ingredients
  

  • 8 cups bread cubes (French bread or brioche)
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage, cooked
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 10 large eggs
  • 2 ½ cups milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • green onions or parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Grease a large baking dish.
  • Spread bread cubes evenly in the dish.
  • Layer sausage, bacon, onion, and both cheeses.
  • Whisk eggs, milk, cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the casserole.
  • Press gently to help the bread absorb liquid.
  • Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight.
  • The next morning, bake at 350°F (175°C) until golden and set.
