Ingredients
  

  • 12 ounces Linguine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup reserved pasta water

Instructions
 

  • Boil linguine in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes. Add Parmesan and whisk until smooth.
  • Fold in cherry tomatoes and cook briefly until softened.
  • Add cooked linguine to the skillet and toss with the sauce. Use reserved pasta water to adjust consistency.
  • Stir in basil, parsley, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Serve immediately.
