- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 packet (2 tsp) unflavored gelatin
- 3 tbsp water
- Fresh mint leaves or mango slices for garnish (optional)
Blend the diced mangoes in a blender until smooth to create mango puree.
In a small bowl, mix the gelatin with water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
Heat the gelatin mixture gently until it dissolves completely. Allow it to cool slightly.
In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
Fold the mango puree and dissolved gelatin into the whipped cream gently until well combined.
Pour the mousse mixture into serving glasses or bowls.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
Garnish with fresh mint leaves or mango slices before serving.
