Ingredients
  

  • 1 (8-10 lb) bone-in, fully-cooked ham
  • 1 cup maple syrup (pure)
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  • Prepare the ham: Place the ham on a rack in a roasting pan. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern.
  • Make the glaze: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine maple syrup, bourbon, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, ground cloves, black pepper, and cinnamon. Simmer for 8-10 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Glaze the ham: Brush the ham with a layer of the maple bourbon glaze.
  • Bake the ham: Cover loosely with foil and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
  • Apply more glaze: Remove foil, brush with more glaze, and bake uncovered for 30 minutes, basting every 10 minutes.
  • Finish and serve: Let the ham rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with any extra glaze on the side.

Notes

Ensure the internal temperature of the ham reaches 140°F (60°C) before serving.
