- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley or chives for garnish
Prepare the glaze: In a small bowl, mix maple syrup, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Marinate the salmon: Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them sit for 15–20 minutes.
Preheat the oven: Set to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with foil.

Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley or chives and serve with rice or roasted vegetables.
- Always use 100% pure maple syrup for the richest flavour.
- Don’t overbake the salmon — it should flake easily but stay juicy.
- You can grill the salmon for a smoky twist.
- The glaze thickens naturally as it cooks, creating a glossy finish.
- Leftovers taste great in salads or wraps the next day.
