  • 1 large green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced

For the Sauce

  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, oil, garlic powder, and black pepper. Marinate for 20 minutes.
  • Whisk together the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar.
  • Mix the cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the beef for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • Add the onions and bell peppers to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes until crisp-tender.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the sauce.
  • Bring to a simmer, then stir in the cornstarch slurry. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 2–3 minutes.
  • Serve immediately over steamed rice or noodles.
