Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • tsp black pepper
  • tsp red chili flakes
  • tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • cup chicken broth
  • cup parmesan cheese (grated)
  • cup sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 250 gram pasta (penne, fettuccine, or spaghetti)
  • Fresh basil (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, red chili flakes, and paprika.
  • Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Sear the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  • Add sun-dried tomatoes and Italian seasoning, stirring for 1 minute.
  • Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing the sauce to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in parmesan cheese, mixing until the sauce thickens.
  • Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the pan.
  • Add the cooked pasta and toss everything together until well coated in the sauce.
  • Garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated parmesan for the best flavor.
  • You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
