- 4 cup fresh broccoli florets
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds (optional)
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on a paper towel, then crumble.
In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets, cooked bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and red onion.
In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar until smooth.
Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss until well coated.
If using, add sunflower seeds and dried cranberries for extra texture and flavor.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to blend.
