- 1 lb ground beef (or a mix of beef and pork)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for frying, optional)
- 2 cup marinara sauce (optional, for serving)
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a skillet over medium heat if pan-frying.
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and milk. Mix until well combined.
Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet or a plate if frying.
If baking, place meatballs on a lined baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
If pan-frying, heat olive oil in a skillet and cook meatballs for 5-7 minutes per side until fully cooked.
If using marinara sauce, add cooked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
Serve warm with pasta, rice, or bread.
-
Use a mix of beef and pork for extra flavor.
-
If the meatball mixture is too wet, add more breadcrumbs.
