Ingredients
  

  • 16–20 cooked meatballs (beef, chicken, or vegetarian)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (plus extra for dipping)
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
  • 2–3 sub rolls or baguette, cut into chunks
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Wooden or metal skewers
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
  • Toss bread chunks with olive oil and Italian seasoning. Toast in the oven for 5–7 minutes until lightly golden.
  • Thread skewers with bread, meatball, cheese, and another bread piece (repeat as needed).
  • Place skewers on a baking tray. Spoon marinara over meatballs and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  • Bake for 10–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Garnish with herbs and serve warm with marinara for dipping.

Notes

  • Use fully cooked meatballs to save time.
  • Slightly toasting bread prevents sogginess.
  • Keep skewer layers balanced for easy eating.
  • Mozzarella gives great melt; provolone adds sharpness.
  • Best served warm and fresh.
