- 16–20 cooked meatballs (beef, chicken, or vegetarian)
- 1 cup marinara sauce (plus extra for dipping)
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
- 2–3 sub rolls or baguette, cut into chunks
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Wooden or metal skewers
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
Toss bread chunks with olive oil and Italian seasoning. Toast in the oven for 5–7 minutes until lightly golden.
Thread skewers with bread, meatball, cheese, and another bread piece (repeat as needed).
Place skewers on a baking tray. Spoon marinara over meatballs and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
Bake for 10–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with herbs and serve warm with marinara for dipping.
