Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt and ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp vinegar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Combine beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, onion, garlic, milk, and spices in a bowl.
  • Shape into a loaf and place in a greased baking dish.
  • Mix ketchup, brown sugar, and vinegar for glaze.
  • Spread half glaze over loaf and bake 45 minutes.
  • Add remaining glaze and bake 15 more minutes.
  • Rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
