For the Sponge Cake
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 5 large eggs, separated
- 1 cup granulated sugar, divided
- ⅓ cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Three Milk Mixture
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
For the Whipped Topping
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Beat egg yolks with ¾ cup sugar until pale and fluffy. Mix in milk and vanilla.
Gently stir the flour mixture into the yolk mixture.
Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add the remaining ¼ cup sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
Fold egg whites into the batter. Pour into the prepared dish and bake for 25–30 minutes.
Cool slightly, poke holes all over the cake, and slowly pour the combined three-milk mixture over the top.
Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Spread over the chilled cake.
Decorate with strawberries and a light dusting of cinnamon.
