- 400 g (14 oz) spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 500 g (1 lb) ground beef or Italian sausage
- 3 cups marinara or spaghetti sauce
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 200 g (7 oz) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté onion until soft, then add garlic.
Add ground meat and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; simmer for 5 minutes.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
In a baking dish, layer half the spaghetti, spread the cream cheese mixture, add half the meat sauce, and sprinkle some mozzarella.
Repeat layers with remaining spaghetti and sauce.
Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until bubbly and golden.
