For the Meatloaf:
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
For the Ghost Mashed Potatoes:
- 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup milk or cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Edible candy eyes or peppercorns for decoration
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or baking sheet.
In a bowl, mix ground meat, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
Divide mixture into small portions and shape into mini loaves or press into muffin tins.
Bake for 25–30 minutes until fully cooked.
Meanwhile, boil potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with butter, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Transfer mashed potatoes to a piping bag fitted with a round tip.
Pipe ghost shapes on top of each mini meatloaf.
Add candy eyes or peppercorns to complete the ghost faces.
Serve warm with extra ketchup or gravy.
