Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), sliced
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 medium tomatoes, roasted
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 jalapeños, roasted
  • 1/2 cup queso fresco or panela cheese
  • 1/2 cup salsa verde
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the molcajete:
    Heat the molcajete in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 10-15 minutes.
  • Cook the meats:
    eason the steak, chicken, and shrimp with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook each protein until fully cooked. Set aside.
  • Prepare the sauce:
    Blend roasted tomatoes, jalapeños, garlic, and salsa verde until smooth. Simmer the sauce in a pan for 5 minutes.
  • Assemble the molcajete:
    Carefully remove the hot molcajete from the oven. Pour a layer of sauce at the bottom, then arrange the cooked meats, onions, and vegetables. Top with queso fresco.
  • Serve:
    Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with warm tortillas and additional sauce on the side.

Notes

Ensure the molcajete is properly heated to keep the dish warm while serving.
