- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips
- ¾ cup M&M candies (plus extra for topping)
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk melted butter, brown sugar, and peanut butter until smooth.
Add eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
Stir in oats, flour, baking soda, and salt until a thick dough forms.
Fold in chocolate chips and M&Ms.
Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan and press down gently.
Sprinkle extra M&Ms on top for color.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and slightly set in the center.
Cool completely before cutting into bars.
