Prepare the Chicken:Rinse the chicken breasts and pat them dry. Season both sides with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Sear the Chicken:Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Sauce:In the same skillet, add chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in heavy cream and mix well. If a thicker sauce is desired, whisk in flour until smooth.
Cook the Chicken:Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them. Cover and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C).
Rest and Serve:Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve with your favorite side dishes.
