For the Sandwich
- 1 large round sesame bread loaf
- 6 slices Genoa salami
- 6 slices mortadella
- 6 slices capicola
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 6 slices mozzarella cheese
For the Olive Salad
- 1 cup green olives, chopped
- ½ cup black olives, chopped
- ¼ cup roasted red peppers, chopped
- 2 tablespoons capers
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Combine green olives, black olives, roasted peppers, capers, garlic, olive oil, vinegar, oregano, and pepper in a bowl.
Cut the sesame loaf horizontally into two halves.
Spread half of the olive salad on the bottom half of the bread.
Arrange salami, mortadella, and capicola evenly over the olive mixture.
Layer provolone and mozzarella cheese over the meats.
Spread the remaining olive salad on top and cover with the upper bread half.
