Ingredients
  

  • 4 pork chops
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Heat oil in a skillet and sear pork chops on both sides until golden. Remove and set aside.
  • Add butter to the skillet and sauté onions until soft.
  • Add mushrooms and cook until browned.
  • Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to combine.
  • Slowly pour in chicken broth, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  • Simmer for 10–15 minutes until pork is fully cooked and sauce is creamy.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning.

Notes

  • Use bone-in pork chops for more flavour.
  • White or cremini mushrooms both work well.
  • Simmer slowly for tender meat.
  • Add extra broth if the sauce becomes too thick.
  • Serve over potatoes, rice, or pasta.
