Ingredients
  

  • 1 pre-made graham cracker crust
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant butterscotch pudding mix
  • 1 ¾ cup cold milk
  • ½ cup butterscotch chips (melted)
  • 1 cup whipped topping (plus extra for garnish)
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • Butterscotch sauce for drizzling (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant butterscotch pudding mix and cold milk until thickened.
  • Melt the butterscotch chips in the microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  • Fold the melted butterscotch into the pudding mixture until well combined.
  • Gently fold in 1 cup of whipped topping to create a light and creamy texture.
  • Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust and spread evenly.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.
  • Before serving, garnish with extra whipped topping, chopped pecans or walnuts, and a drizzle of butterscotch sauce.

Notes

  • For a homemade crust, crush 1 ½ cups of graham crackers and mix with 6 tablespoons of melted butter and 2 tablespoons of sugar.
  • Use a ready-made or homemade whipped cream for a richer taste.
  • Let the pie chill overnight for the best flavor and texture.
