Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ Cups Rolled oats
  • 1 Cup all-purpose flour1
  • 1 Tbsp teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 Tbsp teaspoon salt
  • 1 Tbsp teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 Cup unsalted buttersoftened
  • 1/2 Cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 Cup granulated sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Gather the ingredients and preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon. Set aside.
  • In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. If desired, fold in your favorite add-ins, such as chocolate chips, raisins, or nuts.
  • Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them a few inches apart to allow for spreading.
  • Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges. Allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
