- 6 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 2 cups Corn Chex cereal
- 1 cup pretzels
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup light corn syrup
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp baking soda
Prepare the dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine Rice Chex, Corn Chex, pretzels, and mini marshmallows.
Make the caramel sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup, stirring until smooth.
Add vanilla and baking soda: Remove from heat, stir in vanilla extract and baking soda. The mixture will bubble up.
Coat the cereal mix: Pour the caramel sauce over the Chex mixture, stirring gently to coat evenly.
Cool and set: Spread the mixture on a lined baking sheet and let cool for 10 minutes.
Break apart and serve: Once set, break into bite-sized pieces and enjoy!
