Ingredients
  

  • 12 fresh oysters, shucked
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup red and green bell peppers, finely diced
  • 1 tbsp shallots, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Rock salt for baking

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to broil and arrange a baking sheet with rock salt to stabilize the oysters.
  • Prepare the topping by mixing butter, bell peppers, shallots, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, lemon juice, black pepper, and parsley in a bowl.
  • Assemble the oysters by placing them on the prepared baking sheet. Spoon a small amount of the butter mixture over each oyster.
  • Add bacon and cheese, sprinkling evenly over the oysters.
  • Broil for 5-7 minutes or until the topping is golden and bubbly.
  • Serve immediately with lemon wedges for garnish.
