For Paneer Tikka:
- 250 gram paneer, cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
For Gravy:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 cup water
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander for garnish
In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, and spices. Add paneer cubes and marinate for at least 10 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan and grill the paneer until golden brown on all sides. Set aside.
In another pan, heat butter and sauté cumin seeds until aromatic.
Add chopped onions and cook until golden brown.
Stir in tomato puree, turmeric, chili powder, and coriander powder. Cook until oil separates.
Add grilled paneer and mix well.
Pour in cream, water, and garam masala. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with naan or rice.
