Ingredients

  • 2 cans (15 oz each) sliced peaches in syrup (undrained)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (optional but recommended)

Instructions

  • Lightly grease the slow cooker with non-stick spray or butter.
  • Pour the peaches and syrup into the slow cooker and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the peaches — do not stir.
  • Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix. Sprinkle cinnamon if desired.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours, or until the top is golden and the edges are bubbly.
  • Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

  • Use fresh or frozen peaches if desired; adjust sweetness accordingly.
  • For a deeper flavor, try adding a splash of vanilla extract or a pinch of nutmeg.
  • Avoid stirring the mixture to maintain the layered texture.
  • Use a slow cooker liner for easier cleanup.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
