Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz (60ml) whiskey (bourbon or rye)
  • 1 oz (30ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz (22ml) peach syrup (or fresh peach purée)
  • 1/2 oz (15ml) simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 egg white (optional, for a frothy texture)
  • Ice cubes
  • Peach slices and a cherry (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Cocktail:

  • In a cocktail shaker, combine whiskey, lemon juice, peach syrup, simple syrup, and egg white (if using).

Dry Shake (if using egg white):

  • Shake without ice for about 15 seconds to create a frothy texture.

Shake Again:

  • Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for another 15 seconds to chill the drink.

Strain and Serve:

  • Strain into a chilled rocks glass over ice or serve neat in a coupe glass.

Garnish:

  • Add a peach slice and a cherry for the perfect finishing touch.

Notes

  • For a stronger peach flavor, use fresh peach purée instead of peach syrup.
  • If you don’t have simple syrup, dissolve 1 teaspoon of sugar in the lemon juice before mixing.
  • Egg white is optional but adds a smooth, velvety texture.
