Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups light corn syrup
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • In a bowl, combine butter, flour, sugar, and salt until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
  • In another bowl, whisk corn syrup, eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in pecans.
  • Pour mixture over the baked crust.
  • Bake for 35–40 minutes until filling is set.
  • Cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • Let the bars cool before slicing for clean edges.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
