A quick and delicious sizzling hot plate meal with tender meat, veggies, and rice, seasoned with bold pepper sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 grms thinly sliced beef or chicken
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup corn kernels
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Optional: sesame seeds and fried egg for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Meat:
    Season the meat slices with black pepper, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt. Set aside
  • .Heat the Pan:
    Preheat a heavy-bottomed skillet or sizzling plate on high heat. Add vegetable oil and butter
  • .Cook the Meat:
    Sear the meat slices for 1-2 minutes on each side until slightly browned but not fully cooked. Remove and set aside
  • .Add Rice and Vegetables:
    Place cooked rice in the center of the skillet. Surround it with corn kernels and green onions.
  • Assemble the Dish:
    Add the seared meat on top of the rice. Drizzle soy sauce and oyster sauce evenly over the dish.
  • Sizzle and Serve:
    Allow the dish to cook on the sizzling plate for another 2-3 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds or a fried egg if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Thinly sliced meat is crucial for quick cooking. Use a sharp knife or freeze the meat slightly for easier slicing.
  • Use a cast iron skillet for the best sizzling effect.
