Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add shrimp, season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook until pink. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce thickens.
  • Add cooked pasta and shrimp back into the skillet. Toss well to coat.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and extra black pepper before serving.
