- 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
- 1 lemon (sliced, for garnish)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
Flip the fillets and add butter to the pan, cooking for another 3-4 minutes.
Spoon the melted butter over the salmon for extra flavor.
Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices before serving.
