  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  • Flip the fillets and add butter to the pan, cooking for another 3-4 minutes.
  • Spoon the melted butter over the salmon for extra flavor.
  • Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh, high-quality salmon fillets.
  • Avoid moving the salmon too much while searing to ensure a crispy crust.
