- 12 slider buns
- 450 g (1 lb) thinly sliced beef or shaved steak
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp oil or butter
- 1½ cups shredded provolone, mozzarella, or American cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Sauté onions until soft and lightly caramelized.
Add beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until just done.
Slice slider buns in half and place bottoms in a baking dish.
Spread beef and onion mixture evenly over the buns.
Sprinkle cheese generously on top.
Cover with bun tops and bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese melts.
