Ingredients
  

  • 12 slider buns
  • 450 g (1 lb) thinly sliced beef or shaved steak
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp oil or butter
  • 1½ cups shredded provolone, mozzarella, or American cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Sauté onions until soft and lightly caramelized.
  • Add beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until just done.
  • Slice slider buns in half and place bottoms in a baking dish.
  • Spread beef and onion mixture evenly over the buns.
  • Sprinkle cheese generously on top.
  • Cover with bun tops and bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese melts.
