Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 sleeve buttery crackers (like Ritz), crushed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.
  • Spread the chicken mixture evenly into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In another bowl, combine crushed crackers, melted butter, and poppy seeds.
  • Sprinkle the cracker topping evenly over the chicken mixture.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

  • Rotisserie chicken works great for this recipe.
  • Cream of mushroom soup can replace cream of chicken for variation.
  • Fresh herbs like parsley or thyme add freshness.
  • Leftovers reheat well in the oven or microwave.
