- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh rosemary (optional, for garnish)

Prepare the Pork Jowl: Clean and pat dry the pork jowl. Trim any excess fat if desired. Season the Meat: In a small bowl, mix salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Rub the seasoning mixture onto the pork jowl evenly. Marinate (Optional): For deeper flavor, cover the seasoned pork jowl and refrigerate for 2 hours. Cook the Pork Jowl: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the pork jowl in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until crispy and golden. Rest the Meat: Remove the pork jowl from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve: Garnish with fresh rosemary and serve with lemon wedges for a zesty kick.
