Ingredients
  

  • Dumpling wrappers
  • Ground pork or chicken
  • Finely chopped cabbage
  • Minced ginger
  • Minced garlic
  • Soy sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper
  • Cooking oil
  • Water for steaming

Instructions
 

  • Mix the ground meat with cabbage, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and green onions
  • Season the mixture with salt and pepper. Place a small spoonful of filling in each wrapper
  • Seal the edges firmly. Heat oil in a pan and arrange the dumplings
  • Fry until the bottoms turn golden
  • Add water and cover the pan to steam
  • Cook until the wrappers turn translucent and the filling is fully cooked

Notes

  • Keep wrappers covered to prevent drying.
  • Avoid overfilling the dumplings.
  • Press edges tightly to avoid leaks.
  • Use low-sodium soy sauce for balance.
  • Let dumplings rest before serving.
