Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 mini pretzel buns
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese (cut in half)
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)
  • Optional: pickles, jalapenos for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Mix until well combined.
  • Form the beef mixture into 12 small patties.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  • Slice the pretzel buns in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  • Place a cooked beef patty on each bun, add a spoonful of barbecue sauce, a half-slice of cheddar cheese, and a handful of crispy fried onions.
  • Cover with the top half of the buns and brush with melted butter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and buns are warm.
  • Serve immediately with optional garnishes like pickles or jalapenos.

Notes

  • Use store-bought pretzel buns for convenience.
  • Customize with your favorite cheese or sauce.
