- 2–3 kg pork shoulder or pork butt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- ½ cup water or broth
Pat the pork dry and rub with oil.
Mix salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and brown sugar.
Coat the pork evenly with the spice mixture.
Place pork in a slow cooker or roasting pan.
Add water or broth and cook on low heat for 6–8 hours until tender.
