  • 2 cups vanilla custard or pudding
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup raspberry jam
  • 2 tablespoons raspberry liqueur or orange juice (optional)

For Garnish

  • Extra raspberries
  • Mint leaves
  • White chocolate shavings

Instructions
 

  • Cut the cake into bite-sized cubes. Brush lightly with raspberry liqueur or orange juice if desired.
  • Beat the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  • Place half the cake cubes in a trifle bowl. Spread with half the raspberry jam.
  • Scatter half the raspberries over the cake.
  • Spread half the custard evenly over the berries.
  • Top with half the whipped cream.
  • Repeat all layers with the remaining ingredients.
  • Decorate with fresh raspberries, mint, and white chocolate shavings.
