- 1 can (12 oz) of pork
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Salt, to taste
- 1 cup cooked rice or pasta (optional, for serving)
- Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish (optional)
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until fragrant and translucent, about 3 minutes.
Open the can of pork and drain any excess liquid. Shred or chop the pork as needed.
Add the pork to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in the diced tomatoes, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Simmer for 7-10 minutes until heated through and the flavors meld together.
