- 500g ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried parsley or Italian seasoning
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and herbs. Mix gently until just combined.
Form into a loaf and place in a greased loaf pan or baking dish.
Mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard, then spread over the top.
