Duck Fesenjan is a traditional Persian stew made with duck and walnut sauce.The sauce is flavored with pomegranate.It has a sweet and sour taste.The dish is slow cooked.It is rich and hearty.Usually served with rice.

- 1 whole duck (cut into pieces)
- 2 cups ground walnuts
- 2 cups pomegranate juice
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 3 tbsp pomegranate molasses
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Salt to taste
Heat oil in a pot Brown duck pieces Remove and set aside.
Cook chopped onion until soft Add turmeric Stir well.
Add ground walnuts Add pomegranate juice Stir and simmer.
Add duck to sauce Add pomegranate molasses Simmer 1.5–2 hours.
Serve hot with rice Garnish with pomegranate.
