- 1 cup warm milk (110°F/45°C)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4–5 cups all-purpose flour
In a bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
Stir in melted butter, eggs, and salt. Mix well.
Gradually add flour until dough forms a soft, elastic ball.
Knead dough for 8–10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
Punch down dough and shape into rolls. Place on greased baking sheet.
Cover and let rise for another 45 minutes.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
Brush hot rolls with melted butter before serving.
