Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar or lemon juice (optional finishing)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Trim stems and cut Brussels sprouts in half.
  • Toss sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Roast for 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway for even browning.
  • Drizzle with balsamic vinegar or lemon juice before serving, if desired.

  • Smaller sprouts roast faster and crisp better.
  • Dry sprouts thoroughly for maximum caramelization.
