  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • Fresh cilantro
  • Fresh jalapeño slices
  • Maggi seasoning (optional)

  • Slice the baguettes lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
  • Spread mayonnaise on both sides of the bread and drizzle lightly with soy sauce or Maggi seasoning.
  • Layer sliced roasted pork, pickled vegetables, cucumber slices, cilantro, and jalapeños.
  • Serve immediately while the bread remains crisp.

Notes

  • Pork shoulder produces extra juicy sandwiches.
  • Pork loin offers a leaner alternative.
  • Fresh baguettes provide the authentic crispy texture.
  • Homemade pickled vegetables have the best flavor.
  • Adjust jalapeños to your preferred spice level.
  • Rest the pork before slicing to retain juices.
  • Thin slices make the sandwich easier to eat.
  • Assemble just before serving for maximum freshness.
